How to Configure Attendance Settings and Work Schedules for Shift Employees
The shift app provides a centralized view for creating, managing, and publishing employee work schedules. It is designed to help administrators and managers efficiently plan shifts and monitor workforce coverage.
Weekly and Monthly Views
The dashboard offers both Weekly and Monthly views:
Weekly View allows you to see detailed daily shifts for each employee within a specific week. This view is ideal for making quick adjustments and monitoring daily coverage. Monthly View provides a broader overview of employee schedules across the entire month, making it easier to plan ahead and identify scheduling gaps or conflicts.
You can easily switch between these views depending on your planning needs.
Drag-and-Drop Shift
The drag-and-drop shift builder simplifies the scheduling process by allowing you to create shifts and assign them to employees by dragging the shift to the desired date.
This feature reduces manual input and makes real-time adjustments quick and efficient.
Publishing Options
Step 1: Once shifts have been created or modified, you can use the Publish option to make the schedule visible to employees.
Step 2: After reviewing the schedule, click Publish to notify employees of their assigned shifts.
Any future updates may require republishing to ensure employees receive the latest schedule changes.
This structured workflow ensures schedules are properly reviewed before being shared with employees.
