1. Accessing and Setting Up the Payroll App
To begin the setup process, access the Payroll App from the BizEdge app dashboard. The Payroll App is designed to simplify payroll management and provide a user-friendly interface for both administrators and employees.
2. Customizing Payroll Settings
The Payroll App’s flexibility extends to customization. Access the app settings to set up employee pay periods, tax deductions (such as PAYE, NHF, BHT), and pension contributions. Tailor the app to align seamlessly with your company’s payroll policies.
3. Running Employee Payroll
Executing employee payroll is a breeze with the Payroll App’s intuitive interface. Follow these steps:
a. Prepare Payroll: Click on the “Prepare Payroll” button on the payroll dashboard.
b. Select Employees: Choose the employees eligible for payroll processing.
c. Review Allowances and Earnings: Verify each employee’s allowances and earnings.
d. Run Payroll: Initiate the payroll run for selected employees.
e. Pay Employees: Click on the “Pay Employees” button and choose the preferred payment method: “Mark as Paid” or “Pay with Wallet.”
f. Publish Payslip: Finally, publish the payslip to employees and it will be sent to the MyEdge App, our employee self-service app.
