December 2025 Product Update: What’s New at BizEdge

BizEdge has always been built with one goal in mind: to make HR operations easier for growing teams. Today, we’re excited to share that V2 Beta is officially live.

BizEdge V2 introduces new features and also makes BizEdge cleaner, smoother, and easier to use across the board.

1. People App

While the redesign touches every part of BizEdge, the biggest functional upgrade sits inside the People App, and your HR team will love it.

We’ve made onboarding smarter, faster, and more organized for both employers and employees. Inside the People App, you’ll now see a dedicated Onboarding section designed to take the stress out of welcoming new hires.

It includes two powerful additions:

• New Hire Packet

HR can now create and send a complete welcome packet to new employees as soon as their work email is set up. This packet can include:

• Resumption details
• First-day instructions
• Key contacts (who to meet, where to go)

No more scattered information. Everything a new hire needs lands in one place, neat and clear.

• New Hire Tasks

Starting a new job should not feel overwhelming. New hires can now see the first set of tasks they can begin with as they settle in.

This helps them hit the ground running, understand priorities and feel confident from day one. And for HR, you get a more structured, transparent onboarding flow without extra work.

2. Recruit App

• Dashboard

The new dashboard now shows your total jobs, active applications, and overall applications in one simple view.

• Enhanced Jobs Management

You can quickly filter roles with colour-coded tags (All, Open, Closed, etc.) so you instantly know what needs attention.

• Smarter Interview Scheduling

The new interface lets you manage multiple status updates (Awaiting Confirmation, Confirmed, and more), track full applicant names, and view everything neatly organized in a clean table structure.

• Settings

You can enjoy greater flexibility with settings that adapt to your needs, plus external app integration across the entire BizEdge suite, making your hiring process part of a smoother workflow.

3. Attendance App

Tracking employee presence is now faster and more straightforward with BizEdge V2. HR teams and business owners can now:

• Monitor employee check-in and check-out in one place
• Automate attendance reports for payroll accuracy
• Identify absenteeism trends before they affect productivity
• Keep all attendance records centralized and accessible anytime

4. Shift and Rota

You can now see your team’s weekly and daily schedules unfold instantly.

Key updates include:

• Advanced search & filters – Quickly find who’s working on a specific day or which employee is on duty at any given time.
• Flexible publishing – Share shifts for a week, a month, or just a few days.
• Copy & paste shifts – Save time by reusing schedules across multiple days or weeks instead of starting from scratch.

5. Payroll

BizEdge now allows you to:

• Process one-off and contract payments without disrupting your company’s pay cycle
• Stay compliant with local tax laws and regulations while keeping every transaction accurate
• Protect sensitive payroll data with industry-standard encryption
• View your payroll more clearly at a glance to make quick, informed decisions
